How to equip a sports corner? Do-it-yourself children's sports corner for the apartment - do-it-yourself sports corner for children

The second point in creating a developmental environment for the child (and in our article) is sports complex. It requires more time and effort to manufacture than previously described, but will also last much longer.

At a sports complex, you can start to engage already when the baby is not crawling, but there is no need for it at such an early age. There are a bunch of alternatives to how you can deal with your child before SK appears in your home. But after about 8 months, when the mass of the baby is quite weighty, the sports complex for classes is the thing.

In our apartment, he appeared at about this age. My husband and I “hatched” the idea long enough, plus I spent a lot of time to make it Domanovskybut my husband managed to collect it in just three days, which, in truth, surprised me a lot. By the way, you will find the assembly instructions for our sports complex, but you can step aside from some of its points and make the sports complex the way you see it. And this, I hope, this article will help you.

It doesn’t matter whether you want to buy a ready-made sports complex or make it yourself before proceeding with active actions, the main thing is to determine your requirements and expectations. So, decompose on points what needs to be provided and calculate according to the recommendations of Glenn Doman.

1. Dimensions.

Decide how much space you are willing to allocate in the apartment for this object, so that it does not interfere with your life and does not threaten anyone's safety.
The minimum size, the starting point from which it is worth starting the count, is 1m2 (1mx1m). There is no less sense, and if possible, it is better to make it bigger.

Ours occupies about 1 m in width and 1, 2 m in length.

2. The model.

It is not worth mentioning that there are a great many configurations and options. But, as a rule, they can all be divided into Swedish walls and sports towers. For a child under 3 years old, the first version of the wall will be of little use, although this wall can be adapted to the needs and requirements of the baby. To make this at home is quite difficult. Therefore, this article focuses on terem complexes. They are quite universal and will last you quite a long time - up to 4 years it will be quite enough.

3. Dimensions and distances.

The diameter of the steps and the distance between them depend on the age of your child. You can suggest the following:

We initially made crossbars with a diameter of 20 mm to provide the necessary strength, as they are wooden.
We planned to make the distance between them on one ladder 10 cm, on the other 15 cm, which is quite convenient, because it is not so difficult to remove the crossbars as the child grows.

4. Height.

Choosing the height of the future structure, we also focused on recommendations on the height of the guide, which we located on the "roof".

We made a height of 1.2 m to thereby get something average for all ages. Of course, this height is unlikely to be enough for a child of 4 years, but we also found a way out of this situation. We made the handle moveable, so it can be removed, tilted or raised.

5. The last.

Functional filling or what to place on the side walls. There are even more options. Below I will give in my opinion the most successful SK for inspiration.
What should be required: a staircase to the top and an empty space for mounted utilities (swing, rings, trapezoid). The rest is up to you.

1.

2.

3.

4.

In my opinion, the most successful is option number 2. It is small in area and it just has it all-all-all.
We made a prototype of sports complex No. 3, and the result you will see below.

A couple more important points.

! From the ends of the sports complex must be additionally fixed otherwise it will be very loose. We play the role of an additional lock plywood. But if plywood will not recommend installing “brackets” as in the picture.
! Materials for the sports complex can be bought already sanded or sanded independently. The difference in the price of consumables is almost two times. But we are lazy. We bought polished.
! If you carefully polish all the boards and whetstones included in the sports complex, then you can not bother with the coating. We have everything carefully crafted so that in a year of use, not a single splinter. But if you decide to additionally coat with varnish or paint, then buy special ones for children's rooms (not a cheap pleasure).
! Make the width of the stairs a little more than the width of the track and then in the future the track can be used as a slide. To make the surface slippery, fix a piece of linoleum there.

We did the slide separately. on its back we made a kind of staircase. Therefore, if you do not have a track, do not be discouraged, after the construction of the sports complex itself, putting together a small hill will seem like a task for a second-grader). You can do it the same way yourself.
! On the side surface of the bars between which you decided to make an empty space, you can make indentations for the horizontal bar, the height of which can be adjusted in accordance with the growth of the child. (see Fig.)
The distance between the recesses in the book "hormonal development" G. Doman recommended 7.5 cm.

The prototype of the Swedish wall is the usual household staircase. Finnish peasants came up with it, and it got its name because Finland was then under the rule of Sweden. But this is not the point of how important. It is important that even the simplest exercises on the Swedish wall (see the figure below) can completely avoid health disorders due to a sedentary lifestyle. Only the Scandinavians could think of such a use of the stairs: the winters in Fennoscandia are long and severe. The land is not fertile, the agricultural season is short, and then there are exorbitant taxes. Without winter utility trades, you can’t survive at all. It was not possible to lay down on a stove in the winter, and yawn and stretch for a long time in the spring before harnessing Sivka-Burka.

The simplest exercises on the Swedish wall

The conditions of modern urban life impose approximately the same requirements on the physical condition of people, but for different reasons. And the Swedish wall with your own hands is not a difficult product; there are options that can be made at home in 2-3 hours, see below. But the Swedish wall is still a sports equipment, not a household equipment or household utensils, so you need to do it in compliance with certain, albeit simple, rules. Which - this is stated in this publication.

Primary requirements

For simple exercises on the Swedish wall, you can attach an ordinary staircase to an eave or ceiling beam, as the Finns of the old time did. But the Swedish wall for an expanded and complete set of physical exercises is already arranged differently.

The dimensions of the sports and fitness Swedish wall should be as follows:

  1. Span on the crossbars (crossbar length) - 800-900 mm;
  2. For home and children's Swedish walls with a lack of space in the room, it is allowed to reduce the length of the crossbars to 600 mm;
  3. The distance between the axles of the crossbars in height - 150 mm;
  4. If only a limited circle of adults will be engaged on the wall, the distance between the axles of the crossbars in height can be increased to 220-260 mm according to the user's complexion. The range of 150-220 mm anatomically and physiologically “deaf”, it will be inconvenient to engage;
  5. The crossbar diameter is 40 mm for adults and 24-30 mm for children of different ages (for more details see materials on the device of a home sports corner);
  6. The distance of the lower crossbar from the floor is 150-220 mm;
  7. The number of crossbars - 12-18 for adults and 10-15 for children;

Even with the most simple exercises at a slow pace, sports equipment has dynamic loads that are much higher than the weight of those involved. Static loads from children are less, and dynamic loads relative to the child’s body weight are greater than from adults. Therefore, the Swedish wall for a full range of adult exercises should be able to withstand for 20 minutes without breaking its own design and fastening to building structures a load suspended in the middle of any of the crossbars (or, when commissioning and annual inspection, to all in turn) a load weighing:

  • 180 kg - for the full range of regular exercises by adults in 2-3 or more shifts daily.
  • 150 kg - home or for children's sports.
  • 120 kg - children's home.

Almost like an ancestor

Technologically, the Swedish wall can be made of wood, metal and durable plastic. It’s nice to tackle the wooden one. Steel is more suitable for an enhanced set of exercises with emphasis, see below. Plastic - for children of preschool and primary school age. Let's start with the Swedish wall made of wood, as the least time-consuming and versatile.

Drawings of a typical Swedish wooden wall are given in pos. 1 pic. Cuttings for garden tools made of oak, beech, hornbeam, etc. will go to the crossbars. solid dense fine-grained wood without defects. Since they are by no means always exactly circular, you need to grind the ends of cuttings cut to the size of 35 mm in diameter in any carpentry shop with a lathe or in a metal turning center (item 2). Groove length - 20 mm; the same is the depth of the hole. This will allow you to choose the holes for cuttings in bowstrings by the most common Forstner furniture drill, the so-called. looped (but see also below).

On the bowstrings (sidewalls) of the home Swedish wall, an ordinary drill board will fit without defects, weakening its overall strength. Valid oblique without rot and mold, small captive knots. Mounting the crossbars - at the end by a self-tapping screw or confirm (furniture screw) 6x80 (item 3). It is highly desirable immediately after drilling holes for metal fasteners, but before installing it, glue the PVA parts without holding them until tack, this will greatly increase the overall strength and reliability of the wall, see below. That is: we collect the wall dry, tighten it with something, with a rope, for example, drill installation holes for the hardware, disassemble everything, put it on the joints of the PVA, assemble it, tighten it with steel. While the glue has not dried up, we check and correct the general evenness along the horizon (so that the “propeller” does not work out).

We'll talk about securing the projectile tightly later, but in general a typical Swedish wall is strong enough by itself and with the help of steel hooks 40x4 or 30x4 (pos. 4) can be suspended on a crosshead installed between the walls (bar, pos. 5) or a low (flat) U-shaped bracket from a pipe from 40x2. To the bracket you need to weld the “five-copeck” glides, each under 3-4 self-tapping screws of 6-8 mm in propylene dowels. It is impossible to block the ends of the supporting bracket into the wall! Shaking necessarily! Assembly - lying on props with alignment in a plane and horizon on a dry or, better, on a plasma - flat, covered with a film surface. Deepening of the steel part of the hardware in the supporting wall (in addition to the thickness of the finish):

  • In concrete - from 60 mm.
  • In a brick - from 70 mm.
  • In wood - from 90 mm.

Details and options

The most seemingly non-home operation - the groove of the ends of the crossbars - in fact, usually does not cause difficulties. In any tool store or at the iron bazaar, they will tell you where there is a turner nearby, where inexpensive crossbars will be turned on before your eyes. Perhaps the seller himself will do it. Much more difficulties arise when searching for material for bowstrings and choosing the method of attaching the projectile to the supporting structures. Also - how to put on the wall a hinged gymnastic bar (horizontal bar) and handrails for exercises on an emphasis with hands (they are often called an emphasis, a manual emphasis or, more rarely, half-bars). The emphasis and horizontal bar became indispensable accessories of a home Swedish wall; often make it an integral part.

Bowstrings

An ordinary combat board for bowstrings of the Swedish wall will not work without a choice: it is not designed for such a large number of points of concentrated load. The seller will either choose or not, and most likely there will be nothing to choose from: the lumber of the highest standard (and this is needed for sports equipment) is selected already when sawing by the manufacturer and goes on sale at a price several times more expensive. Glue plywood bowstrings? It is laborious and not cheaper at all - plywood is also expensive compared to commercial wood.

However, there is a way to harden the cheap packaging plywood to the extent necessary. He also allows you to make bowstrings of the Swedish wall from completely waste its waste. Labor for pasting will have to be spent no less, but the costs will hardly turn out more than for the purchase of ordinary boards. And the strength of the finished product will be greater than that of selected higher quality.

This method is the preliminary impregnation of plywood blanks with a water-polymer emulsion (VPE). This inexpensive, harmless, safe and easy to use material completely eliminates the delamination of the most crappy plywood and increases its strength several times. In addition, there is no need for an expensive and narrowly specialized Forstner drill - all holes are through, they can be drilled with a hand drill using an ordinary pen drill on wood. 3-4 liters of VPE will suffice on the Swedish wall in excess.

For the wall on which adults regularly engage, the thickness of the internal parts of the bowstrings needs to be increased to 28-32 mm; then all layers can be assembled from pieces fitted back to back. The complete assembly plan is as follows:

  1. Crossbeams are prepared (see above);
  2. Prepare a plaz;
  3. Prepare goods for oppression;
  4. Chop and adjust the pieces for the internal parts. Do not forget to number or mark which one fits with which;
  5. All blanks are impregnated with VPE from 2 sides;
  6. Billets immediately, without waiting for complete drying, lay in layers on a plaz and glued;
  7. Having laid and aligned the pieces of the first layer, they are applied to not and to the counter surfaces of the pieces of the next PVA;
  8. Without waiting for the glue to dry before tacking, lay the 2nd layer on the first;
  9. Repeat paragraphs. 7 and 8, until the workpiece of the desired thickness is typed;
  10. They put on the workpiece oppression - at least 5-6 loads of 2 kg evenly along the length;
  11. The ends of the ribs of the workpiece are trimmed with a metal square, the “crawling” pieces are corrected;
  12. According to paragraphs 4-11 re-stick the blank of the second string;
  13. After 3-4 days (for drying workpieces), drill holes are drilled under the crossbars;
  14. Prepare the outer linings of the bowstrings (impregnated with VPE), paste them under the yoke on the inside and fasten the entire package with small screws (indent from the edges of the bowstring - 20-25 mm)
  15. Collect the shell dry and drill installation holes for the fasteners of the crossbars;
  16. They smear the nests under the PVA crossbars and collect the shell on the plaza, without waiting for the glue to dry;
  17. Align the structure in a plane (eliminate the "propeller" if one is found) and fasten with 6x45 self-tapping screws for the children's wall in Fig. or 6x60 for an adult;
  18. Dry the wall lying on the plaza for 5-7 days. It is highly desirable to load in the corners, so as not to lead.

Typing Option

Another option of a convenient and rather economical, although rather laborious, Swedish wall into an apartment is a collapsible combined in the doorway: bowstrings from a regular drill board or 15 mm plywood, steel steel crossbars from pipes, crossbar earrings - oak, beech, hornbeam.

Drawings of a collapsible Swedish wall in the doorway are given in the figure:

Since the attachment points to the supporting structure are already 32, the fasteners are small, 3 mm screws; their penetration into the door jamb - from 20 mm. The crossbars are necessarily steel: wooden, not included in the general power circuit, will not stand. Fixing the earrings on the crossbars - screw M4-M6 with heads flush. The diameter of the parts of the crossbars under the grab by adults can be increased by putting plastic shells on them, e.g. from 2-3 layers of a heat-shrinkable tube (HERE); this will also increase the roughness of the crossbars to “wooden”.

The advantage of this Swedish wall is that having removed part of the crossbeams, you can perform exercises with a wide swing of the legs. Disadvantages - during the exercise, the passage is blocked, the door jamb and the appearance of the opening deteriorate. In addition, it is impossible to obtain the optimal step of the crossbars in height of 150 mm, and 240 mm is close to the maximum permissible.

Horizontal bar and emphasis

A simple crossbar for pulling up and keeping the angle with your feet on the weight significantly expands the functionality of the Swedish wall. A children's Swedish wall without a horizontal bar generally loses most of its developing qualities. A simple wall-ladder can be easily supplemented with a hinged crossbar holder for pulling up and other static exercises (without sudden movements).

Drawings of the Swedish wall with a wooden hinged horizontal bar holder are given in Fig. (the upper bracket of the holder is in the upper right; lower - in the same place below).

Other versions of the hinged horizontal bar and manual stop for the Swedish wall are shown on the following. Figure:

Manual emphasis allows you to engage on the Swedish wall is already very experienced and physically developed users, pos. 4 and 5. For a wooden hinged stop, you need to take a tree of especially strong species that is ideally homogeneous without defects: teak, etc. The dimensions of the palm rest hinged on the Swedish wall are given on the right in Fig.

However, the most functional hand stops combined with the crossbar, see another figure:

The main structural materials of the bearing parts are a 40x2 pipe, a professional pipe 60x60x2. For jibs, couplers and blades of union grippers - a professional pipe 60x (20-30) x1.5 or (on the right) a pipe 20x1.5. For hooks there is also a 30x6 strip. "Cape" on the Swedish wall on the right in fig. the most functional, but they don’t certify this for a general-use sports equipment: hooks in the area of \u200b\u200bthe practitioner's trauma are dangerous.

Note: removal of the horizontal bar crossbeam - 60-65 cm.

A stationary (attached tightly) horizontal bar on the Swedish wall is required for moderate tension or intensive adult activities, especially since it does not interfere with children using the hinged horizontal bar, and adults with an arm rest. However, in this case, fixing the horizontal bar consoles (the brackets holding the crossbar) with 3 or 4 bolts (pos. 1 and 2 below in the figure) is a gross mistake, as well as parts made of clearly defective wood (shown by red arrows in . 2). Fixing with a square is permissible if the bolt sockets are screw-through, and the shell parts are made of high-quality glued solid wood, pos. 3. In any other case, the centrally-symmetrical fastening, if the permissible load is exceeded or from fatigue, can be destroyed "all of a sudden."

It is most correct to attach a stationary horizontal bar to the Swedish wall on kerchiefs made of plywood 24-32 mm thick. The kerchiefs are attached to the bowstrings with at least 4 through bolts M10-M12, pos. 4. Kerchiefs can be glued from plywood as described above. If the layers of the workpiece are at least 4 (plywood 6 mm), then the pieces for the assembly of layers are suitable from approx. 100x150 mm. The main thing is that the seams in the layers do not coincide in parallel converge no closer than 5 thicknesses of plywood.

The fixing of direct consoles from high-quality wood with a wedge with 5 bolts is somewhat less reliable. It shakes rather than a scarf, but it is not capable of sudden destruction: it shakes first, which will be noticeable.

Swedish metal wall

On the Swedish metal wall, it is recommended that people be strong and have mastered fairly complex exercises (see the end). Their palms are more powerful than those of beginners, and advanced users create large loads. In this case, the step of installing the crossbars in height is taken closer to the maximum possible in accordance with their anthropometry.

Drawings of 2 variants of the Swedish wall made of metal (mainly male and female) are given in rice; the dimensions of the "female" on the right are in cm.

Bowstrings and consoles of the crossbar here and there - a professional pipe 80х40х3. Crossbeams - 40x2 pipe. Spacers - “legs” for attaching to the wall - 40x40x2 professional pipe. It would not hurt to make struts for the consoles of the right version from the same pipe: then it will be possible to cook by conventional welding with a consumable electrode from a portable welding machine.

Wall mount

It is wrong to fix the Swedish wall to the wall with steel corners and self-tapping screws, as amateur craftsmen often do. Once one corner breaks off from the fatigue of the metal (which is most likely just during classes), as the entire mount can break off at once. Fastening of an adult Swedish wall to a load-bearing wall is possible at 4 or 6 points. It is advisable to fix the nursery in 2 points, see below.

At 4 points, the Swedish wall is fixed with thrust bearings for 3-4 self-tapping screws in the dowels each, see above. This mount is mainly for people of small weight (up to 70 kg). The lower pair of thrust bearings is located in the middle between the first and second crossbars, and the upper - between the 2nd and 3rd from the top.

When attaching 6 points, the lower two are closer to the floor, but not less than 0.75 times the width of the bowstring from its lower edge. If, say, a bowstring is 150 mm wide, then the distance of the lower attachment points from the floor is 100 mm. The upper points are marked in the middle between the last and the penultimate crossbars, and the middle points are in the middle between the lower and upper bars, but so that they fall in the middle of the distance between the crossbars.

The Swedish wall with 6 points is fastened, as a rule, with anchor bolts from M10, but with a diameter of no more than 1/3 of the thickness of the bowstring and no more than 1/2 of its thickness under the head with the washer. For bolts with washers in wooden bowstrings, step through holes are drilled. The depth of the larger hole (under the head) is half the width of the bowstring. In steel bowstrings, drill even holes for the body of the bolt. Deepening anchors in the bearing wall (in addition to the thickness of the finish):

  • In concrete - from 100 mm.
  • In a brick - from 110 mm.
  • In wood - from 130 mm.

For children

It has already been said above that the static loads from children on the Swedish wall are low, but dynamic children can create incredible ones. And they climb on the wall all together, and even fight on it. At the same time, the height of the children's Swedish wall is rather small, 140-160 cm. Accordingly, the shoulder of the lever tending to tear the shell away from the wall will also be smaller.

The second is that children grow up. When the baby outgrows the wall, it will need to be replaced with a “real” wall or removed. It is highly advisable that in this case, the repair of the children's room is not needed or a minimal one is needed. And at the same time, the children's Swedish wall, while in use, should stand in its place like a glove, no matter what its owners do on it.

Based on all this, the Swedish wall for children needs to be fixed tightly in 2 points in the load-bearing wall. How to ensure sustainability? In two ways: by spreading between the wall and the upper fixture or point blank at the dead point between the wall and the floor. In the latter case, the upper fastener serves only as clamps (stoppers) that hold the projectile from tipping over. Which does not reduce the requirements for its reliability.

Note: an alternative is the Swedish wall for children, actively absorbing dynamic loads, see below.

At disposal

To fasten the children's Swedish wall in the strut, the elasticity of the structure is used. In this case, the bowstrings should be straight, strong and stable in the transverse directions, i.e. thick enough: wooden with a thickness of 30 mm; glued plywood - from 24 mm.

The installation procedure is as follows:

  1. hard liners 3-4 mm thick are temporarily attached to the heels of the bowstring;
  2. the projectile is placed tightly on the floor at the installation site;
  3. on the load-bearing wall, in place, holes for self-tapping screws in the dowels are marked, see above;
  4. the heel pads are removed and the wall is attached to the wall. Her heels will be hanging in the air;
  5. microporous rubber thrust bearings are prepared stiffer 2 mm thicker than the thickness of the temporary gaskets;
  6. one person with a pair of mounts picks up the lower bar at the very strings and pushes the projectile up (pos. 4 in the figure);
  7. the assistant lubricates the rubber thrust bearings with mounting glue and palms it under the hanging heels of the bowstring;
  8. the first worker takes the pressure off the tire.

After an hour and a half, it is unlikely that a physically strong adult will be able to move or disrupt the projectile.

Point blank

The fastening of the children's Swedish wall in focus at 2 points proved to be more reliable than fastening in the spacer. It does not require an assistant to perform, spoils the load-bearing wall and floor less, and also makes the projectile look playful. Fastening in an emphasis acts on the principle of a lever jammed at a dead center. Therefore, its upper attachment points must be absolutely rigid in all 3 planes, and the bowstrings are somewhat curved. Thickness of board bowstrings from 24 mm; impregnated plywood VPE from 16 mm, i.e. plywood bowstrings can be solid not glued.

The reliability conditions of this method of fastening, firstly, the supporting surfaces should fit into a right angle (highlighted in red in the figure below). To make the wall and floor less rubbed, thin silicone gaskets are glued to the supporting surfaces (rubber leaves marks). Secondly, the socks of the heels of the bowstring should protrude at least at a distance equal to the distance of the axes of the crossbars from the supporting wall. If novice athletes are already very quick and frisky, it is better to put the socks of the heels forward half the removal of the horizontal bar or more, i.e. 25-30 cm. Third: fastening to the wall - with anchor bolts from M8. Laying anchors in the wall from 80 mm, from 90 mm and from 100 mm for concrete, brick and wood, respectively.

However, take a closer look at what's on the right in fig. The similarity is only external, but the power circuit is completely different. Due to the inevitably occurring backlash on the mounting brackets, “ears” to the bowstrings, such a projectile should be fastened to the wall at 4 points, which is less reliable and spoils its appearance.

Self-absorption

The Swedish wall made of plastic for adults is a very, very dubious issue. Household plastics hold static loads poorly and get tired of them quickly. Special (eg carbon fiber carbon) are very expensive and overloaded prone to sudden destruction. But the children's Swedish wall made of polyisopropylene (simply - propylene) is a very good solution, because propylene perfectly absorbs dynamic loads. Only fasten the propylene children's Swedish wall to the wall as an adult, at 3 or 4 points on the M6-M8 anchors with 90, 100 or 120 mm laid in the wall for concrete, brick and wood. How to assemble a Swedish wall from soldered propylene water pipes, see next. plot.

A sports corner is a whole complex in the form of a small playground, which is located in a residential building. This may include a variety of equipment that helps maintain physical strength.

Of the positive aspects of the organization of children's sports corners note the following:

  1. It is necessary to constantly maintain the growing body of the child in good shape, so classes with sports equipment can strengthen the muscles, skeletal system and vestibular apparatus.
  2. It is important for every child to have a certain hobby. It is sports that will help distract your child from mental stress after school. In addition, minor bruises and falls, train in him the strength of mind.
  3. A playground is often recommended for children who do not yet know how to walk. Of course, it should be borne in mind that the dimensions of the complex should correspond to age.

Of the shortcomings, it is noted that, nevertheless, the corner takes up a lot of space, which is far from every apartment. To make an interesting site you will have to purchase the maximum number of equipment.

A sports corner for children in the apartment will be a real find. Children will be able to splash out their energy, and in the future it will be easier for them to engage in mental activity. The sports complex will help to strengthen the muscles of not only kids, but adults.

What does a sports corner mean?

The sports complex is a kind of playground located right in the apartment. Developing complexes come in different configurations. The composition includes elements such as a horizontal bar and a swing. The design also contains a rope, rope ladder and other sports equipment for children. The corner with shells helps to keep fit.

Why do you need a home sports corner

For the correct formation of the child's body, it is important that he is engaged in various exercises that help strengthen muscles. The data of modern medicine show that active movements help the proper mental development of children.

The sports complex is ideal for these purposes. A play corner for children at home will help keep the child fit.

Even when the baby does not know how to sit and walk on its own, already at this time it is worth considering the acquisition of a game complex. For very young children, a soft coating with bright and musical toys will be enough. As the child grows, the children's corner must be supplemented with new elements and simulators.

Sports complex equipment

A sports wall for children in an apartment can include a variety of elements. The possibility of their installation depends on the financial capabilities and wishes of the owner, the age of the children, the dimensions of the room in which it will be installed in the future. The corner consists of many elements, the main of which are described below.

Swedish wall

This is the most important part of the complex and its foundation. The wall looks like a ladder. On it, the child can do gymnastics, climbing. The main advantage of such a ladder is that it is small in size.

Horizontal bar

It is needed for exercises that will help strengthen the muscles of the back and abs. On it you can hang and swing, which will appeal to children. The horizontal bar can be part of the Swedish wall. There is an opportunity to fix it separately.

Tip: the horizontal bar will not take up much space, and all family members will be able to use it if it is fixed in the doorway.

Gymnastic rings

They can be attached separately to the ceiling, as well as hung on a handle or horizontal bar. Children love them very much and usually begin to master a sports corner from them.

Rukhod

It is a horizontal staircase. It is installed at a height and is attached to opposite walls. Sometimes it is attached to the racks of a sports corner. The guide is complemented by rings. For boys, you can hang a punching bag.

Rope

Children like him, they can have a pleasant and useful time on it. Exercise on the rope develops the muscles of almost all parts of the body: arms, legs and back. Children over two years old like to practice on a rope or hang on it, climb up.

Trapezoid

The crossbar suspended on ropes. It can be attached separately to the ceiling or horizontal bar. You can hang and swing on a trapeze.

Rope-ladder

She perfectly develops dexterity, because climbing it is quite difficult.

Punching bag

It is attached to the ceiling, and it is also suspended from a horizontal bar or crib. The punching bag is more popular with boys, but it can also be installed for girls.

Swing

They are perfect for relaxing. Children can relax on a swing or read a book in a hammock.

Incline bench

It is suitable for exercises aimed at strengthening the abdominal muscles. The bench is fixed to one of the crossbars of the Swedish staircase.

What elements are best to install in a sports complex

Game corner for children at home should include elements that serve not only as entertainment, but also contribute to the proper development and training of muscles.

You should also consider the preferences of children. If the child is engaged in any particular sport, then additional equipment should be installed that will help the development of specific muscles.

Boxing enthusiasts attach a pear to the ceiling or the Swedish wall for practicing blows. For basketball boys, a ring and ball design is great for extra training. For girls attending a dance club, a trapeze and a large mirror will come in handy.

Types of sports complexes

In stores you can see a huge assortment of sports complexes. They are compact and impressive in size, also differ in the materials of manufacture and installation methods in the apartment.

Mounting Options

Children's sports corners for the home are divided into several types, based on the method of attachment. They are:

  • mounted;
  • spacers;
  • wall;
  • outdoor.

Mounted systems are fixed mainly to the ceiling or wall. In this case, free space remains on the floor.

Spacers are mounted between the ceiling and the floor. Thanks to this, the corner will be securely installed. Basically, spacer sports complexes are L-shaped or T-shaped. True, such a sports corner cannot be installed in an apartment with stretch ceilings.

Wall-mounted sports complexes are used when it is impossible to fix it on the ceiling. The basis in this case will be the Swedish wall.

Floor constructions are designed for young children. They are made of wood or metal. Disadvantage: not used for long. When a child grows up, the design will be uninteresting and too small for him to grow.

What sports corners are made of

According to the manufacturing materials, children's corners are divided into:

  • wooden;
  • metal.

Each sports complex made of one or another material has its advantages and disadvantages. The risk of injury during classes at the wooden complex is much less.

Wooden structures withstand loads up to 75 kg. The advantage of such sports corners is that they are made of environmentally friendly materials. Also, wood is much warmer than metal, so for younger children it is better to choose structures from this material.

Note! The maximum allowable load that the metal complex can withstand is 150 kg. That is why such sports corners are ideal for sports not only for children, but also for their parents.

How to choose a sports corner depending on the age of the child

A sports corner for the child must be chosen, given its age characteristics. From 4 months of age, a soft mat with toys and buttons is enough for children. Such a set will help strengthen the muscles of a small athlete.

From 1 to 5 years old, a child can purchase a Swedish wall and soft mats. Particular attention should be paid to the frequency of the crossbars. As a standard, they should be at a distance of no more than 22 cm.

Since 5 years add almost all sports equipment. At this age, the distance between the steps is 25 cm. During adolescence, the Swedish staircase with a horizontal bar, a press bench, and a pear will be especially useful. This set of shells is ideal for boys.

Features of simulators for babies

The infant simulator is suitable for babies over the age of four months. They will be interested in all kinds of bright toys and buttons. A children's corner also contributes to the development of vision and hearing.

At the age of four months, the child still does not know how to sit, and in the reclining position it will be interesting for him to observe objects and listen to music. His muscles will gradually begin to develop due to the fact that the child will pull up the toys and press the buttons.

Features of sports corners for older children and adolescents

The features of metal structures include their ability to withstand more weight, in contrast to sports corners made of wood. Also, a stainless steel frame and horizontal bar is much easier to assemble.

But not all the details of the complex are made of metal, the rope ladder consists of wooden beams. When buying children's corners, special attention should be paid to the processing of parts. Their surfaces should be even and smooth, otherwise the child may be injured.

At what age can I use sports corners

During the first year of life, the baby makes a huge leap in physical development. He learns to hold his head, later to sit, crawl, walk. The Swedish wall can be used already in this period of time.

When a child tries to stand and walk, it can be placed near the stairs. The kid will move, holding on to the crossbar.

At the age of 2-3 years, the child begins to actively explore the surrounding space. During this period of time, it is important to monitor the baby, maintain and insure against bruises and falls. So that over time, children do not lose interest in a sports corner, as it grows, care must be taken to change additional elements. Over time, you can add rings, a trapezoid or a swing.

Ideas for installing a sportswoman depending on the size of the room

When buying a sports complex, you must take into account the dimensions of the room. For a small room, the L-shaped design is more suitable. It will take up a little space, but will be less functional. The best option - the design is large enough.

Also, when buying, it is worth considering the material of the manufacture of a children's sports complex and its color schemes. With this, the design will not only benefit the children, but also complement the design of the room. In the children's room, a corner for playing sports is established by various methods. Here are some of them.

Sports complex for a small room

For a small room, the Swedish wall with additional elements is perfect. The sports complex is attached to the wall, and to save space, it is placed in the corner. A sports corner will take only half a square meter, will not interfere with movement around the room.

Combined furniture with elements of a sports complex

Combined furniture is very comfortable and takes up very little space. It consists of cabinets, tables, beds and sports items at the same time. This design can be selected for any apartment design.

Sports complex for a spacious room

In a large room you can create a real entertainment room. There is a huge range of sports complexes for spacious rooms. The price of corners can be different, as they differ in size and material of their manufacture.

DIY educational corner

DIY sports corner to do is not as difficult as it might seem. The operation is quite light and does not require maximum accuracy. If a person at least once in his life held a drill, a hammer and a saw in his hands, he could well cope with the manufacture of a sports corner.

Note! When assembling and installing do-it-yourself structures, it is better to play it safe and install additional fasteners. Otherwise, the complex may collapse and injure the child.

Features of covering a children's corner

When the material for the manufacture of the sports complex is selected, you can begin to determine the color scheme. The design will look ideal in the same colors as the whole room and the rest of the furniture in it. When choosing a color, they often rely on standard solutions.

For girls, sportswear is decorated in pink, yellow, lilac colors. Boys are better suited for red, blue, brown, green. Combinations of any colors are usually used to design a children's corner for boys and girls.

Equally important is the quality of the coating. Paint tends to crack and wear off after some time. That is why some parents are not supporters of painting sports corners.

Tip: if the structure is made of wood, it is enough to varnish it. Metal children's corners are also covered with a special tool that will extend the life of the product.

  • boards;
  • rope;
  • ropes;
  • shovel cuttings;
  • fasteners;
  • set of tools.

When everything is ready, begin to manufacture the base - the Swedish wall.

Step-by-step manufacturing process

Making a Swedish wall will not be difficult even for beginners. The process consists of the following steps:

  1. First do the sides. Measure the desired size of the board, grind. Fasten them with clamps.
  2. Holes are drilled in the side members. They are needed in order to insert steps in them.
  3. Shanks from shovels are cut off the desired length.
  4. They are inserted into the holes and glued or fastened with confirmates for reliability. So that the child does not get hurt, they are covered with plugs or covered with top.
  5. In this way, the upper part of the structure is made, to which all sports elements will be attached in the future.
  6. You should get a complex in the form of the letter "G". It must be attached with dowels to the wall. Additionally, the design needs fixing to the ceiling. To do this, install an anchor with rings, to which the upper part of the Swedish wall is attached.

When the main part of the children's corner is ready, you can proceed with the installation of additional elements for sports.

Installation of additional elements

You can make a climbing wall, a rope and a rope ladder.
To make the stairs you will need a rope and wooden blocks. The manufacturing process is as follows:

  1. The bars are carefully sanded so that the child does not get scratched.
  2. Holes are drilled at both ends of the bars.
  3. Strong ropes are passed through the holes and secured.

The rope is usually tied to a knot at the bottom, and fixed on top. The climbing wall can be made of a wooden frame and rope. On the frame, the ropes are sent horizontally and vertically, then each intersection is tied to a knot.

Consider how to make a slide:

  1. For the frame, use a bar with a cross section of 10x10 cm.
  2. Be sure to bring the surface to a smooth state.
  3. To connect the beam from the bottom and top, use hardwood boards (2.5x10 cm).
  4. To make a ladder, 2 bars should be attached to the frame at an angle (approximately 45 degrees).
  5. Steps are nailed to these boards. They are made from supporting bars.
  6. We proceed to mount the slide. At an angle we establish guide bars.
  7. In parallel, we put and fix the boards on them. The slope will be laid on them.
  8. All wooden components must be treated with a protective compound.

The design should not contain sharp corners. If she is tall, she must be equipped with a railing.

  3. Ropes are tied to the bar. Synthetic is recommended.
  4. Between the ropes fix the seat. For kids, make a back. An original option may be a seat made from an old car tire.

To do this, you need boards. In them, cut openings for the legs and arms, randomly located. It is desirable that such a "Climbing Wall" is tilted.

Be sure to consider a safety rope with knots.

Exercise machine "Log"

This is another good idea that allows you to create unique and delightful kids sports complexes for cottages. Create a great simulator for developing balance. It is very easy to make.

Take an ordinary log, clear it of bark. After sanding, cover with a protective compound.

Install the log on metal or wooden supports. Do not raise it high above the surface of the earth.

"Rope" for the guys

This is a favorite exercise machine for older children.

Tie the end of the rope into a large knot. In this case, the child will be comfortable to rely on him.

You can knit knots throughout the rope (through 50-70 cm). This will provide additional support to the legs and arms.

Creating an original design is easy. The main thing is to properly plan and select the most interesting simulators.
